This tree is by no means complete. Currently it barely scratches the surface, but contains over 11,000 people. We would love for everyone to add their Chatham Ancestor and his/her descendants. You may add as many genererations back as you think relevant. By using TNG Software for this tree we are able to upload and link pictures, histories, and tombstone images up to the site and to individuals on the site. Our goal is to have an interactive tree that will one day include known early settlers of Chatham Co., NC and their descendants. You do not need to register to view the information on this site or submit changes. If you are interested in submitting your Chatham Co., NC ancestor/descendants, there are two different ways. The easiest and fastest would be for you to e-mail a GEDCOM to the site hosts and we will merge it with the main tree (this will automatically list you as a source for the information you submit), or you can e-mail a family report or family group sheet, which we will have to input manually and may take a bit longer. If you have photo(s), family histories or documents that you would like to link to an individual, please e-mail them to the site hosts and we will get them uploaded and linked to the individual. We have found that this is the easiest way to assure proper credit/documentation for your entries.
